The Ontario Building Code requires certain individuals to be qualified and registered with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH)*. All individuals and organizations with active registrations appear on this registry.
You can search for individuals and organizations by Building Code Identification Number (BCIN) or by their name.
You can also find qualified individuals and organizations in your local area by selecting the registration type and location.

*Chief Building Officials do not need to possess qualifications if qualified staff are performing plans review/inspections.
